Very clean, new machines that work quick. Pretty sure there is free WiFi, and the place is very well cared for all around. Great hours, and reasonably priced. The only gripe is that I don't believe they have cash options, so no quarters.+0Posted on Google

Theresa was so so so helpful!!! The laundry room was super clean and straightforward. She was here with us to make sure our laundry was done right and told us about the other services they offer that we will definetly be using. I will definitely come back and I recommend to anyone that wants a one stop shop for all things laundry.Posted on Google
Chris35 days agoThank you to Carl who helped me out with my shirts that I needed back quickly as I was going out of town for a few days and needed them back quickly. He suggested that we box (fold) the shirts since I was putting them in my suitcase and they would not be wrinkle when I got there. He was righteous wrinkles. I have used both the dry cleaners and the laundromat on a regular basis. Carl is great and that's why I continue to go back.Posted on Google
Massiel A. Pérez36 days agoI always have a great experience here! Every time I come in, the laundromat is very clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which makes doing laundry so much more pleasant. I also really love their rewards system—when you spend a certain amount, you earn money back to use toward future washes. Such a nice bonus! Great service, clean environment, and definitely a place I’m happy to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!Posted on Yelp

Zack53 days agoI have been coming here for years now. The place is always clean and staffed. The best staff member they have is Carl and to be honest he is probably the only reason why I still go there. I see that they have new owners and I don't ever see them. Carl puts in 150% of the effort everyday. He may be tired and has a lot on his plate at work and in his personal life. He's is the glue of that shop. I can't say enough about him at all. I give Carl 5 stars for just even holding it all together every day. I could never work in that industry as I have seen the way the public acts when they are there and even by reading the reviews on here. It takes a special person to do what he does every day. I will continue going there knowing that he is there.Posted on Yelp

Patrick Partikian342 days agoPicture this....you are coming home from a long hard day at work. You are tired and the last thing you want to stress about is doing laundry. What if you could find a place that is very clean, well maintained, air conditioned, is spacious, is priced well, has lots of different types of machines and is staffed with caring personnel? That way you could just get your laundry done without stress and be able to go home with one less chore and clean laundry. Well, I have found the place and I wanted to share it with you. Star Laundry Club in Nashua. I don't generally leave reviews for laundromats I visit. But this one left a good impression on me so I had to. This place is CLEAN! I was surprised how clean the floors, the folding tables, and of course the machines were. Everything was spotless. There are a lot of different types of machines. They even have a big kahuna of the machines; a 80 lb washer! THis thing can hold a couple of full bed comforters, sheets, and pillow cases in one load. So, that saves so much time and effort there! All of the machines were functional and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and was very helpful. The manager, Carl, even took time to come and help me with one of my loads. He also helped me with loading my FASCARD. I hear they even have giveaways to earn more points. The price is also very reasonable. Lastly, I also loved that the folding tables were so big and roomy. You don't have to hassle with little, dirty tables here. I hear they are updating it quite a bit and it is under new ownership. Good things to come. This is surely my goto place for laundry from now on. I hope this helps.+3Posted on Yelp
Arrielle M.363 days agoSo clean and the owner was so sweet! They have happy hour promotions where their dryers are $1! Honestly I put way too much money in the dryers cuz I'm always used to them not drying clothes but that was not the case! I took all my winter blankets and towels and walked out within an hour! 10/10!Posted on YelpTim M.364 days agoThis place was fantastic and the staff there (Sarah I think?) could not have been more courteous and helpful, not just to me but to every patron on a Saturday afternoon. Roberto Chen400 days agoPalmer’s Cleaners has really impressed me! It’s a fully automated laundromat, which makes the whole process quick and hassle-free. I especially appreciate the extra-large washers and dryers—perfect for bedding, comforters, and big loads that usually don’t fit anywhere else. The machines are efficient, and my laundry always comes out fresh and clean. I also noticed they’ve been upgrading the facility, which makes it feel modern, comfortable, and well taken care of. Everything is easy to use, the place is spotless, and the new improvements show they care about their customers. If you’re looking for a reliable, upgraded laundromat with top-notch machines, Palmer’s Cleaners is the spot. Highly recommend!Posted on Google
Arielle Barrios400 days agoHonestly the best laundromat I’ve ever been to! The washers and dryers here are top notch – my clothes come out super clean and dry in way less time than I’m used to. The whole place is spotless (which you don’t always find with laundromats) and everything feels really well taken care of. I love how easy it is to use the machines and there’s plenty of space, so I never feel crowded or rushed. The vibe is actually kind of fun too – not your typical “ugh, laundry day” feeling. Definitely makes the chore way less of a chore. If you’ve gotta do laundry, this is the place to do it!Posted on Google
Russell Pineda400 days agoReally glad I found Star Laundry Club! The place is super clean and the machines actually work really well — washers and dryers are fast and get everything done right. Iree A.541 days agoI haven't been to the laundromat since my mom use to drag me to one every weekend, and for good reason. I was stressing over getting coins and making my loads small enough to fit in about 10 different machines and having enough energy to spend majority of my day there. Do you know how much life has to put you through, for you to be over the moon ecstatic about walking into a laundromat that doesn't make you dread being an adult doing adult things!? This place is truly a breath of fresh clean laundry with your favorite softener, air. Theres a variety of washers of different sizes and dryers, you'll be done with those dreadful loads within the hour. There's a user friendly app you use to pay for the machines you're using, so all my coins are going right back into my vacay piggy bank, thank yeeewww!! There's a seating area with comfortable seating, and a kitty corner with toys, soft mats and books. The building smells and feels very clean and spacious, while sorting out your laundry you could literally sort out your chaotic mental to do list with ease. It's just a vibe for those whose happiness is determined by order and cleanliness, like myself. 10/10 would definitely recommend.+4Posted on Yelp

Tracy A.876 days agoIt has got to be one of the BEST laundromats I have ever been to. The store is incredibly clean. All washers use soft-water so you only use 1/2 as much soap. I no longer have to make a trip to the bank to get quarters since they have an app that allows you to pay by card. They have machines that can handle 40, 80 and 100 pounds of clothes at a time. Typically I can put in 2 baskets full of clothes in the 40 pound washer. I would definitely recommend this place to large families to minimize time spent washing on washing day.Posted on YelpKatherine L.877 days agogreat, clean and also nice owners also super efficient. The owner helped me right away and tried to figure out the problem (wasn’t his fault it was a connection error out of his hands). Although it took a lot longer to do my laundry that was a pretty nice gesture and I will keep going here.Posted on Yelp

Amber S.1846 days agoService: this location is run by a woman with great customer service, super nice and helpful. She clarified pricing, recommended where to park when we had to pick up and described how it worked as we were first time customers. It includes wash and fold, and she can clarify additional pricing for blankets, sheets, rugs etc as they are upcharged. Price: It was $13 per 10lb minimum and will charge $13 even if under 10lbs we had a large order so that was no problem! Even with a large order they had it done in about 3 or 4 days! I definitely recommend checking out if you have the means for it !Posted on Google

Becky Y.2002 days agoI've always had in-unit laundry prior to moving to Boston. Although it's inconvenient going to a laundromat instead of being able to do laundry at home, the owners are so kind and friendly that they make the experience more pleasant than going to a slightly closer laundromat. They also offer wash and fold and tailoring services. Would highly recommend going here. Only issue is it can be tough to find parking near this spot when doing multiple loads of laundry.Posted on Google
David Michael2030 days agoI've been coming here for close to a year now. The machines in my apartment building are kinda gross so I don't like to do my laundry at home. So roughly every 2 weeks I come here and get all of my laundry done at once. Even the smallest washing machines hold a lot of clothes, I usually only need 2 machines, though occasionally 3 if I have a lot of jackets and sweatshirts and such. The machines are very clean and do a great job washing my clothes. The permanent press is strong enough to thoroughly wash heavily soiled items, and the delicate cycle is very gentle on my more fragile clothes. The lowest dryer setting is also cool enough that I don't worry about my clothes shrinking. I've had issues at other laundromats where even the lowest setting was too hot and shrunk my clothes. The building is very clean, and I appreciate the extra cleaning and sanitizing they're doing because of covid. Their prices are a little higher than my laundromat of choice when I lived in a different city, but they're still pretty reasonable.Posted on Google

Alice H.2536 days agoWash/fold service is about $1.15 per pound of laundry. 10 pound minimum I dropped off my laundry here around noon and they finished my laundry by 7pm that same day. The attendant was very nice and my laundry came back great! They even took the effort to hang certain garments that were meant to be hung instead of folding them. I would recommend.Posted on Google
Tamara Jiraud2550 days agoVery clean. Quality machines. Decent pricing. Now, my review. First time coming here and figuring out the machines was a bit intimidating as some machines take card and some don't and some dryers take card and some don't. I asked the woman working there for help and she explained the difference and how I needed to get a laundromat card for the loads that DON'T take card (credit card). She was friendly. The second time I had a question after all my laundry was done successfully, was which machine would I use if I wanted to bring a queen comfortor to wash. This time I was helped by a gentleman who was very friendly as well and advised me to bring it in and he could better access the situation which is fine. It was the woman who had originally helped me the first time that.... Kind of rubbed me the wrong way this time. She saw me speaking to the gentleman, came over to see what we were talking about, I told her, and she made a comment, "Oh, because I thought you already washed your laundry, so!". Now I don't know what she meant by this but it made me feel like I couldn't ask any other questions, if I did have any. Again, this being my first time here, I had some questions and the only reason I came to this laundromat was because of all the good reviews about how clean they are and friendly and helpful and that small interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. BUT.. with all that being said, I would go back for the simple fact of now I know how to use the machines and it so close to my home but, I also might check out some other places I had in mind too.Posted on Yelp

Krissy W.2565 days agoI used the coin-op laundry here on a Saturday morning - it was quiet and the laundromat was clean and everything was in working order. The owner is very friendly - responsive on the phone and helpful in-store. He provided quarters for the machines in exchange for bills. I paid $6.00 for one load in the big washer (1 comforter, mattress protector, 1 set of sheets, and a small load of dirty clothes), and 2 dryers for 30 minutes each ($0.25 per 6 minutes). Everything was painless and easy, which was refreshing especially after dealing with a broken laundry machine in my apartment complex. Would recommend!Posted on Google
FitFoodie2577 days agoI used the self-service laundromat on the left side. First impression was that I pulled right up and it was clean (I also went before 9am on a holiday). I went in to use an industrial size machine for a large comforter. The machines take cards (so you do not have to take out money and get change - which I found convenient). When I returned later on, the place was full and I could see how someone doing multiple loads might need to wait for a washer or dryer. Aside from that, as long as you plan accordingly, I see this being a nice place to do your laundry.+0Posted on Google

Meg L.3041 days agoI started out trying to go to the Bright!on laundromat on Washington (it's new looking, clean, right down the street from my house that's in Oak Square) but they make you buy a load a card for the laundry. They don't have a coin op option. That's convenient but the staff is rude and honestly for a large load it's $6. Star is the BEST. A husband and wife own it and they are so nice they really help you out--I came in with a bag of coins and they allowed me to get all quarters from them. Most places wouldn't go out of their way. The largest washer is also $6, which adds up overtime once a week for a year you would save about $100 a year on laundry loads. And that's if you do the largest washer every single time. The place is small and not aesthetically perfect but I will go out of my way to their location knowing they are fair and good people. The washers and dryers are excellent too! I was doing my own laundry at another place down the street using coin-operated machines for the first year. Crunched for time one afternoon, I saw Star being lauded on Yelp. My laundry was ready- fresh, clean, and neatly folded- early the next day upon request. While I still do laundry myself more often than not, it's still such a relief to have a place like this in the neighborhood, run by a wonderfully friendly couple who have pride in their work and don't overcharge. Don't forget to bring back those wire hangers.Posted on YelpAnne C.3421 days agoA few months ago my washer/dryer was broken and while we waited for a part I took our piled up laundry to Star Cleaners for wash/dry/fold based on positive Yelp reviews. My washer dryer was fixed the next week but the service was so good at Star that I only use it for sheets and towels and bring everything else to Star. The $30-40 a week I spend ( for a family of 4) on laundry is well worth it! My laundry machine breaking was a blessing and I'm happy to have laundry free weekends. The service is quick (less than 24 hours if you want it) and owners are wonderful and the clothes are clean, delicates separated and hung to dry, and clothes reasonably well sorted to make putting them away easy. I've recommended to several friends so have also had good experiences. Although parking spaces out front are limited, there is enough room to double park behind the parked cars to quickly drop off and pick-up without blocking traffic.Posted on Yelp

However, after my experience with Jenny at Star Laundry Mat I've decided to put aside my homework and write this review! (I Might be rationalizing just to avoid studying... That's besides the point haha) I had 4 sets of pant suits that I wanted to alter. My roommate was the one that found this place and after skimming through the great reviews I decided to make the mile long trek to Star.. It was a 6-star experience because instead of coercing me to spend $$$$$$ ($25 for each section that needs altered), Jenny helped me realize that only one blazer needs a little adjusting and that one pair of the suits I bought needs to be returned because it was not proportional! I yelped dry cleaning and laundry services and found Star Dry Cleaner and Laundry. I will never go anywhere else. I called yesterday to make sure they were opened and the lady nicely confirmed and gave me the store hours, which is from 7:30am - 8pm (what?!). I went there the next morning with all of my laundry plus a blanket with a stain. She originally couldn't have everything ready until the next day, but she knew I was in need of all my clothes so she asked me to come back at 7:30pm. I got there and she greeted me so nicely with a big smile. She also folded all of my clothes neatly and put it in a big bag. She washed one of my favorite red dresses carefully and air dried it just in case she didn't ruin it and put it in a plastic bag and said, "just like dry clean!" MaryLynne K.4493 days agoHad the BEST experience at Star Dry Cleaner and Laundry! We moved into a new apartment a few weeks ago (4th floor walk-up) and when I went to do a MASSIVE pile of laundry, lugging the bag down four four flights of stairs with a knee injury, I found the washer to be broken! Ahh! There were some tears. I first looked into some wash/dry/fold services in Back Bay and they were all crazy expensive. I am in the Brookline/Brighton area a lot after work though, so when I read the reviews for Star I made the choice to go there. I am so glad I did! Jenny was absolutely amazing. I dropped the massive bag off at 4pm and it was ready the next afternoon. I am a little particular about my laundry and had made a small bag of items I didn't want dried in the dryer. She washed each item and hung each on their own hanger. She even explained that she had checked through the rest of the laundry and found a few other items she thought would not do well in the drier and hand washed and hung them as well. I was so impressed! I thought that there was no way someone could be more particular about my laundry than me! Furthermore, the price at Star is perfect at $1/pound. Thank you Jenny for saving my week - your kindness and help were so greatly appreciated.Posted on Yelp

The laundry is done the next day by 4pm- no problem. In a few dire-and garmentless-situations I called to see if they could do it same day and they did! They wash and fold everything meticulously. Also, they hang up items them think shouldn't go in the drier. I really have no complaints about the service of this place. The only downfall is there is never parking available so I double park and run in. Otherwise, no complaints. For a $1/pound what more could you ask for.Posted on Yelp

K. D.4760 days agoI LOVE Star Dry Cleaner and Laundry. Their $1/lb. Wash-and-Fold is amazing. The service is always friendly and as efficient as they can be (the wait to get your laundry back is a little long because they're always super busy). They really do try and accommodate you when you look stressed out. I had one time, where I really needed my laundry before the end of the day for work clothes (procrastionation- sigh) and I dropped it off at 3:45 PM. The woman there had it ready for me by 7:30PM and didn't even give me a hard time, just politely asked if I could give them more time in the future. Also, you can bring them your detergent OR they use their own which smells fresh and clean too! I needed dry cleaning on two shirts and a dress that had some minor staining from deodorant and make-up. I brought in my stuff on Saturday afternoon, and it was ready for pickup Monday night (they're closed Sundays). I am not sure how competitive pricing is, but my blouses were $5 each and the dress was $10. When I picked up my clothes, I noticed they did a great job on getting the stains out. Also, everything was pressed perfectly. I almost don't want to wear them again just so they don't wrinkle! I would recommend Star Dry Cleaner and Laundry over the chain dry cleaning places, which are all hype.Posted on Yelp

Oliver K.5552 days agoThis is probably the best place to go if you need a good dry cleaner in the entire area. To speak strictly for men's clothes, it is hard to find a good dry cleaner. You might think that it is fine to drop off your suits wherever you please, however, if you know anything about mens clothing, you will know that this is not the case. First off, steam is not a suits friend (most dry cleaners steam your suit) - anyone who tells you to steam a suit to get out the wrinkles is insane, and the same goes for your pants - the suit will become baggier (you will start to notice it after 1-2 dry cleaner visits!) Star Dry Cleaner I guess contracts to another place for their dry cleaning, and everyone down the line does a great job - because they iron your pants and suits! YAY. Also, theres not a single place that I have found that actually puts the crease back into your pants - THIS PLACE DOES!!! They are the first place that know how to clean a mens suit, and thank god a place that knows how to steam a french cuff shirt - they take the time to fold the cuffs inside out and press them from both sides, most places dont bother and what you get is a lot of creasing inside - so when you put the shirt on, and fold the cuff, you just see a bunch of creasing. Jenny is so accommodating - even steaming a dress for me on the spot for a wedding that night! Moving out of the area and will miss the Wash, Dry, Fold service. If you don't believe me, just try it. You will never do your own laundry again, especially if this is your cleaners!Posted on Yelp
Sasha B.5585 days agoThe wash, dry, & fold service here is amazing! The staff are super friendly, professional, and are always available for those Mom type questions like "should this go in with the lights or the darks?". Even if the basement in my building was to come off of my list of the "Top 10 most terrifying places" I'd still be going to Star Dry Cleaners for all of my laundry needs.+0Posted on Yelp
Taylor P.5662 days agoI really can't say enough about this place. Jenny and her husband are so nice and hardworking. It may seem odd but they seem to come up in conversation often with my friends as we've all had great experiences here (and are obsessed with our dry cleaner...?). They're really accommodating and quick with dry cleaning/tailoring services. Also, I have officially stopped doing my own laundry because their wash/dry/fold service is so quick and cheap (it also makes me feel glamorous).Posted on YelpMelissa M.5726 days agoThis is a great place. I just moved to Brighton and this is the closest dry cleaner to my house. The woman who works there is great and will work with you--I walked in saying that I had an interview the next day and could she fix a rip in a seam for me--she had it ready by 6pm. The price wasn't bad either. I get the impression the tailor is in almost every day.Posted on YelpMike R.5746 days agoI started going here years ago when I lived across the street, just because it was the closest dry cleaners. I have since moved a couple miles away and although it's no longer the closest dry cleaners, I still go there. The woman who works there is the nicest lady ever, they're reasonably priced for shirt cleaning, and extremely quick - next day service, and they always do a fabulous job. I've also had suits and pants cleaned, and a jacket, and just had a pair of pants hemmed. (They did charge $10 to hem the pair of pants which seemed a little high, although I've honestly never had a pair of pants hemmed before so I'm not sure if that's really out of line or not. And given their outstanding service, I didn't mind too much anyway).Posted on Yelp

Betty J.5957 days agoReasonable prices, friendly service, quick turnaround times. I've been taking my dry cleaning and garments in need of basic alteration here for a couple of years with no complaints (aside from wishing they took American Express). In my experience, they're the best in the area.Posted on Yelp
Jonathan O.6163 days agoLet me start by saying that I have never written an online review of a store before this one... ever. The experience I had at Palmer's today was by far the best I've ever had from a drycleaners. I found out via email today (midday Sunday) that a company I'm interviewing at asked me to come in tomorrow at 3:00pm. I frantically searched the web for a drycleaners that was open on Sunday - let alone one that could get a full suit drycleaned overnight for Monday morning. Amazingly, Palmer's said it was no problem. Not only that, but when I got there both of the clerks were alerted that I was coming in and knew me by name. It was great, friendly service, an extremely fair price, and they went out of their way to fill my order. I will go back here as often as I can.Load more
